Beckham's bad luck for World Cup 2010

Disappointment and sorrow could be seen on the court of San Siro on the AC Milan’s manager team, the fans and David Beckham’s after his left Achillies tendon was injured, few minutes before the end of the match with Chievo. That is with sports, one minute you are supreme and you seem invincible and the next you are out of the terrain, crying in pain and sinking in the uncertainty. It is very likely that former England captain is going to miss the next World Cup starting June 11 in South Africa, which would have been his fourth. It seems like unfortunately, Beckham’s dream to go once again on the World Cup, is going to stay only a dream. If he achieves to r! ecover from this injury, Beckham is going to be the first English football player to participate on four successive World Cups. Experts say that his career for England is probably over, regarding his hurt and the age of 34. “It's remotely possible he may be running in three months. The chances of him being fit to play for England are non-existent" – stated consultant sports physician Dr. Tom Crisp for BBC Radio 5. Milan’s vice president Adriano Galliani said that the UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador could not play for “probably five or six months”. Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson once said about him that he “practiced with a discipline to achieve an accuracy that other players wouldn't care about”! Professionalism and commitment are his partners all the time. David Beckham is definitely a star, regarding his looks, his popularity in the football world, but he certainly has earned that. His current club is Los Angeles Gala! xy and Milan has “borrowed” him for an year. His ! injury w ill come under surgical knives today in Finland and for fans sake and his own, off course, let’s hope that the surgeons will give their best and bring him back as soon as possible.
