You have to have a big endurance because it include also sprinting, diving on hard floors and a lot of action.The main idea of this sport is to bounce off the ball the front wall and then bounce it twice to your opponent. Then he have to be able to strike it back. To take a point you have to serve. The balls before reaching the front wall they have to be bounced off to the side walls, back walls or the roof. Regarding the equipment for racquetball is minimal. To play you only need the racquet, set of balls and some goggles. Of course if you want to play professionally your equipment will be quite bigger. Another big golf tournament finished and the whole world has already known who is the winner of this prestige event. Th e meridian of this year U.S. Open came true this Monday and it had to be really interesting and of course mainly very thrilling. Probably the whole tournament floated in that mind, while it lasted longer than it is usually used to, because there were two players on the top with the same amount of points. This 108th annual set of U.S. Open was played at San Diego's Torrey Pines. The rivals, who met each other in this struggle, were the world's one Tiger Woods, who has already won 14 Major tournaments and Rocco Mediate, who wanted to become the oldest U.S. Open champion and who could be the first player fighting the winning position of this tournament from the position of the second hundred in the world scale. But unfortunately for him, nothing of the kind happened. So as we all have certainly already noticed, Tiger Woods became a winner after a long and uphill play. Because of the problems with the cartilage in his left knee, on which there had to be surgery, he is not in as good trim as everybody is accustomed. It is because his knee has caused him the terrible pain with every hit. In spite of this fact he was doing well during the whole tournament, except of the semi-final day when fortune wasn't at his face. But finally he succeed to finish at the same place as his rival and compatriot, Mediate. But also Rocco Mediate fought bravely in order to get dreamed the trophy. I think everybody from the spectators at Torrey Pines was so excited, zealous and maybe also bit surprised and some of them maybe didn't know who to cheer more. Anyway, certainly all the US was happy that the trophy would stay “at home” while both rivals are Americans. The problems with the Woods' knee don't back up, vice versa. Probably he will miss the coming British Open and he is still not sure whether he will sometimes play this sport. One thing is true. The leg was loaded during the whole tournament as well as during trainings few days before the start of the event, so now it needs relaxation and abandon to recover. And what about the next year U.S. Open, this is still not sure. But Mediate will certainly take part in it and try to achieve the trophy, better position in the scale and come back to the top. Romanians are boasting over the result they obtained on Monday at the Euro 2008. The match with the world’s vice champion ending at 0-0 was quite a performance after the struggles and fails they went through before. Ďalší golfový turnaj sa skončil a celý svet už vie, kto je víťazom tohto prestížneho podujatia. Vyvrcholenie tohtoročného U.S Open sa uskutočnilo tento pondelok a muselo to byť skutočne veľmi zaujímavé a samozrejme, hlavne veľmi napínavé. Pravdepodobne celý turnaj sa niesol v podobnom duchu, lebo trval dlhšie ako zvyčajne zvykne, pretože na prvom mieste boli dvaja hráči s rovnakým počtom bodov. Tento 108. ročník U.S. Open sa hral v San Diegu na ihrisku Torrey Pines. Súpermi, ktorí sa stretli v tomto súboji, boli svetová jednotka Tiger Woods, ktorý vyhral svoj už štrnásty “major” turnaj, a Rocco Mediate, ktorý sa chcel stať najstarším šampiónom U.S. Open a ktorý mohol byť prvým hráčom, útočiacim na prvú priečku turnaja z pozície nachádzajúcej sa až v druhej stovke svetového rebríčka. Ale nanešťastie pre neho, nič také sa nestalo. Takže ako sme si už určite všetci všimli, Tiger Woods sa stal víťazom po dlhej a namáhavej hre. Kvôli problémom, ktoré má s chrupavkou v ľavom kolene a ktorá musela byť operovaná, nie je v takej dobrej kondícii, ako sú všetci zvyknutí. Je to preto, lebo koleno mu s každým úderom spôsobovalo veľké bolesti. No napriek tomu sa mu celkom darilo na celom turnaji, až na predposledný deň, keď šťastie nestálo na jeho strane. Ale nakoniec sa mu podarilo skončiť na tej istej priečke ako jeho súperovi a krajanovi, Mediatovi. Ale aj Rocco Mediate bojoval statočne, aby získal vysnívanú trofej. Myslím, že každý divák v Torrey Pines bol vzrušený, nadšený a možno tiež aj trochu prekvapený a niektorí možno ani nevedeli, koho majú viac povzbudzovať. V každom prípade, určite celé Spojené štáty sa radovali, že trofej “zostane doma”, pretože obaja súperi sú Američania. Problémy s Woodsovým kolenom neustupujú, skôr naopak. Pravdepodobne vynechá nadchádzajúci British Open a stále si nie je istý, či sa k hre ešte vráti. Jedna vec je ale istá. Noha bola zaťažovaná celý turnaj rovnako ako počas tréningov pár dní pred začatím podujatia, takže teraz potrebuje odpočinok a pokoj, aby sa zotavila. Takýto postoj v kombinácii s prehnaným čínskym nacionalizmom môže ľahko skončiť katastrofou v oblasti medzinárodných vťahov a poškodiť tak Olympijské hry,” vyjadril sa politológ a odborník na čínsky systém David L. Shambaugh k súčasnej medzinárodnej situácii. Olympijské hry nemajú byť o politike, ako bolo už mnohokrát odznelo, no v prípade tohtoročných sa to určite povedať nedá. Los problemas que actualmente podrian desbaratar a China sus planes no se refieren solamente a las preocupaciones por ediciones ambientales sino tambien a las violaciones de los derechos humanos en Tibet, pero no unicamente alli. Los grupos que exigian la independencia en Tibet y su representacion nacional con su propia bandera organizaron a muchas protestas. Incluso el actor de Hollywood Richard Gere conocido por su implicacion en la situacion en Tibet llamo por el boicoteo de los Juegos.
