Blanc missed the chance to show off

I keep trying to put myself into French coach Laurent Blanc and feel the pressure on my head after the lost of Norway in the last night’s match. It is not that that match was very important for some result on some list or of some money, but it was the first match that the French representation played under the “wand” of the new leader who came after the debacle his predecessor Domenech did. When the eyes of the world public are pointed to one man than you surely do not want to be that man at least for a day. The new team of French representation which was the vision of Blanc didn’t make it to the friendly meeting and lost the game with the result 2:1! , visiting the Norwegians. Blanc played with experimental team of Les Bleus. He wanted to punish the previous team for playing very bad at the World Cup 2010 in South Africa and showed up with other fighters on the field only a month later. They started the game with a goal that Hatem Ben Arfa achieved, but soon after that Erik Huseklepp returned the same way. For the first game after the World Cup, Blanc decided to engage six uncapped players in the lineup. And now, if the goals are not the most important thing in the game, than commentators say that Frenchmen were bigger initiators than their hosts. But, after all, the scores are what the history remembers. In few years, when one will talk about this certain match, no one will mention the good game, but the score. Losers simply don’t stay in our memory.
