He simply fulfilled an order

Sport is no longer fair play game and fans of F1 have made sure of it on Sunday during the Formula One German Grand Prix. Fernando Alonso Diaz, Spanish Formula One racing driver is a two-time World Champion. But what happened last weekend was something what a champion should never allow. While reports say about Alonso’s victory, only few of them point out what actually happened that day. “Fernando is faster than you. Can you confirm you understood that message?” That was what Brazilian racing driver Felipe Massa was told just with 18 laps remaining. Massa, who was by that time in front of Alonso, has unexpectedly slowed down and let his team-mate to overta! ke him. Ferrari chief engineer Rob Smedley shortly after that said to Massa on the team radio: “Good lad – just stick with it now, sorry.” But what is worst, the affirmative proof was not the team radio record, but Massa’s obvious reduction of speed by which the road to Grand Prix victory was opened to Alonso. After that pretended race, Massa has nothing more to say just: “I do not need to say anything about that. He passed me.” Alonso, on the other hand, has had more words to say. “Sometimes you are quick, sometimes you are slow.” he said and as he continued: “It is a very strong result for the team. I think it was a good weekend overall, we improved the car a lot. We performed very well.” And we all must simply admit, their Sunday’s performance was played more than just very well.
