Only a chance brought the victory for Paraguay, sinking Japan football team.

There were not many goals to see in the last two matches of the World cup round of 16 last night. Neither there were many goals, nor there was big difference between four rivals. However, only two of them could pass further. Only a chance resulted a duel among Paraguay and Japan in the afternoon. Japanese team reached high past matches, beating Denmark 3-1. This time they would aim high challenging even overwhelming Paraguay. Audience saw no goal in regular time and both teams played well and determined so the result was about to come from penalty shootouts. Although South American team gained more possession of the game, they had relatively few chances to score. The only ! representative of Asian football lowered their “samurai” quick attacks that became memorable in previous matches in the second half. The extratime primised either bright start of both of teams or random victory in shootouts. The third half was signed by Japanese ressurection, but this eventually didn't brought the victory. Neither it does for their rivals in the last seven minutes. Penalties will be certainly one of the most black moments for Yuichi Komano, the only one to miss the net, hitting only a cross bar. Paraguay scored 100 hundred percent right and won the match 0(5)-0(3). It will be the fourth South American team to play quarterfinals along with Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay. The second match among Spain and Portugal ended up better for Spanish team that took over the area and in the second half it finally succeeded against onld rival. David Villa pushed the only ball behind Portugal goalie and increased the pressure on them. The portion of psychology ! was significant, although one could see, Portugals didn't give! up till the last second. Still they played worse and were unable to form any attack possessing the ball more than two flips. Both winning teams will meet in a clash on July 3rd.
