Britain searching another champion.

I bet the sport world is being dominated by the World Cup for almost a month with such dominance that everything else is just fading. But these days we've seen higher rounds of Wimbledom tennis cup with the most celebrated players fighting for the next passage. Wibledon is one of English top tournaments and it seems that after withdrawal of English team from South Africa, everyone is back to focus at least on their domestic competition. Some critics even say that Britain is healing its wound searching for Scot Andy Murray. He can be finally one Briton heading towards victory. Although Murray will play on a domestic playground that is generally seen as huge advantage in any ! sport, British statistics are rather poor on successfull domestic matches. The beginning of the tournament was followed by increasing pressure on Murray. After 33 years, Queen Elizabeth II made her return to the All England Club. Murray was supposed to do the only one thing – to bow in front of her. Some expected his refusal, being a proud member of Scotish nationality, some were worried about another huge faux-pas, but in the end, Murray bowed to the political will and entered the tournament.After a week, he made it no easier for his rivals, not giving them a single set, he passed to the semifinals. Except of Rafael Nadal from Spain he was about to face the pressure of British fans.If successfull, he would be the first Briton to win the championship since Fred Perry in 1936.Wimbledon semifinals will see another couple – Tomas Berdych from Czech Republic will meet Serbian Novak Djokovic Friday afternoon.
