Hamilton closer to the champion position
by Zivka Deleva

Yes, he is the champion in the world of the speediness and adrenaline. Yes, I am thinking of young British Lewis Hamilton from McLaren team that won the Canadian Grand Prix yesterday. Not only did he have the best time on the race, but became the world number one of the Formula One drivers championship. Before that he was at the third position, and now has 109 points. Just few seconds after him came his teammate Jason Button. The third place went to Fernando Alonso from Ferrari team, maybe one of the biggest Hamilton’s enemies on the road. The other places on the 70-lap race, were fulfilled with Sebastian Vettel from the Red Bull team, and British Mark Webber. Button ! kept his second position on the champions list, Webber dropped to third. “It has been a tremendous weekend. I have had incredible support from the fans. There are so many Brits out here which is great to see and the team did an exceptional job. The race was one of the toughest races so far but that’s what you want to have the hardest fight. Jenson did a great job and another one-two for us, so I am very happy and proud of the team,” said Hamilton. The Canadian open is one of the most fascinating races in the Formula One history. There were no crushes or bigger problems this time. The biggest rivals not only on this race, but the last few years, too, are Alonso and Hamilton. Their team-war began three years ago when the both of them were in McLaren. Thanks to Alonso, Ferrari team is beck in the game.
