Spain heading into the finals

Tight was the victory of Spanish team over Germany in semifinal match on the World Cup. Although the expectations were high, let´s say above than high for German Manschaft before the match, Spain slowly took control over the match. German initial score was high after beating England and Argentina and heading into semifinals for 17th time during past 20 years. This time, the team was supposed to be strong and freshly recruited from the national Bundeslige with the age average hardly reaching 25 years. Although Spain was one of the candidates for the tournament, Germans were also hot candidates to win this time, but Carles Puyol headed the mortal score into the German n! et. The first half of the match was kind of careful, with both teams being focused on defense, but Spaniards dominated the match, until Puyol the defender took advantage from Xavi corner in the 73rd minute.Germans were lacking their usual pace and Thomas Mueller who was suspended from the match. Mueller was an important team support not only because of his 4 goals on this World Cup. German captain Phillip Lahm said, it was the best game they'd played, and although deserved to score more it was very difficult. He also said the team didn't play courageous enough and although they had had a chance they weren't able to use it. Spain will clash with Nederlands at Soccer City in Johannesburg on Sunday. Orange team managed to be in the final twice before, but always left without a trophy. This time they seem to be confident and consolidated enough to be crucial rival even for Spanish flame.
