Lance Armstrong coming out of retirement for Tour

A great racer in cycling, Lance Armstrong announced his come back to the sport world and he intends to win the eighth Tour de France in 2009 after he survived cancer. Now he became a hero, a symbol for all patients who sufer from cancer and also made cycling an elevated sport.
He is now 36, and he will 37 next week. He made an exclusive interview for Vanity Fairwhich was posted on his own Web site. He was happy to end second in the Leadville 100,which is a 100 mile mountain race through the Colorado Rockies, but accoridng to him, it just started his engine.
His close friends as Johan Bruyneel or the director of Tour de France do not want to comment his come back. But Armstrong himself commented it in the interview. He was happy to be again in the race after he talked about it with family and friends, and most likley it is not just about cycling, but about raising the awarness in poeples heads about cancer.
Armstrong did for cycling more than any other man and without him half ot the teams would not be in the race. There are sceptics who think he can not race because of his age, but Armstrong noted a few champions who are even older than he and are still doing a sport at a high level. Other problems connected with his person is the usage of performance-enhancing drugs. He passed hundreds of tests and none of them was posotive, but is still was not a proof for them. According to Armstrong. His generation will be for poeple the dirty one with drug problems therefore hi is still involved in guestioning about it.
However, his fans are happy he came back, he is now for them a hero and he helps to riase the money for cancer by his Lance Armstrong Foundation .
