Chris Cantell Discusses Sports: Federer routs Ancic at Wimbledon, gets Safin next
by Paulina Neshybova

Roger Federer , a Swiss tennis player , is the best candidate to win this year´s Wimbledon. He holds many Grand Slam or Tennis master Cup single titles and he is also the holder of many records in the game. The next hottest candidate was Mario Ancic, who beat Federer in 2002, and it was the last time when Federer went home without winning. However, this time Federer wasn´t stopped by any player, even the Croatian player Ancic sometimes called "Super Mario" or "Baby Goran" didn´t beat him. Federer dismissed him 6-1, 7-5, 6-4 .Federer is very confident about himself, and he is really satisfied with the way how he served. In spite of the weather problems, he did the match in a high tempo and sighes to other winnings. He is very confident about playing on the grass and he always finds the way how to beat his opponents, even though they are tougher every year.Next Federer´s opponent in the mens semifinals will be Marat Safin, a Russina former world No. 1 player. Federer knows how much talent this Russian guy has, but Safin himself does not think he has a big chance to win after he beat Feliciano Lopez 3-6, 7-5, 7-6 (1), 6-3. Once Safin faced Federer at 2005 Australian Open semifinals, and he won. Therefore Federer comments, that he thinks Safin could beat him. Federer knows that it is going to be a hard contest but of course he wishes to defeat him and become a winner.
