Olympic Games is THE sports event. Even if you're not a sports expert, you're not doing sport yourself but somehow everyone is watching Olympic Games. Everyone wants to be a part of it. It's history. The first Olympic Games have taken place already in the antics, then there was nothing, but around 17th century there were some Olympic competitions in England and France.In 1896 the modern games of the new age originated and the International Olympic committee was established. The games took place in Athens after the motto: "back to basics".The games are divided to summer and winter Olympic games both taking place every 4 years. The Olympic committee chooses the best of the running countries,coming to a decision based on many factors.This year's host country is China, as the games are taking place in the capital Beijing. To host the Olympics is not an easy job.It requires huge capacities. You have to have a big,well equipped stadium. If you don't have one,you have to build one. Which brings us to the other thing- money. To make sure that things run smoothly,you need thousands of people to back it up. Safety guards, security,policemen and paramedics,helpers,sellers. Organization is a great catchword. The organization has to be perfect,faultless. Cause if you fail,the whole country fails. It's important cause you want to represent your country in the best life of course. Millions of people are watching you and talking about it so you better prevent any scandals and avoid doping affairs. Also you have to make sure that your guests are satisfied with the services and having fun!See you in Bejing.
