Ponekogaš ní treba tolku mnogu za čovek da se razočara, da bide nezadovolen, mrzliv, pasiven, no ni treba mnogu motivacija od druga strana, za site onie što i ne bile tolku mnogu srekjni. Kroazon imal nesrekja pred 16 godini, koga rabotel kako metalen rabotnik, bil udren od struja od 20,000 volti obiduvajkji se da otstrani televiziska antena od pokriv od kukja i bil pogoden.

Četiri najsilni tima se soočija megju sebe – Česite se borea protiv srpskata grupa i Francuzite se sretnaa so argentinskata grupa. Za francuskiot tim sé projde mnogu glatko i čisto otkako ja tepaa Argentina so najvisokiot rezultat od 5 – 0. Mišael Lodra i Arno Kleman pobedija vo dvojki i go postignaa najdobriot rezultat vo individualni dueli. Žil Simon go pobedi Eduardo Švank i Arno Kleman go pobedi Horasio Zebalos vo prethodnite natprevari. Argentina ne možeše završi vo polufinaleto. Simon gi povleče koncite nad Švank koj ! e dobar igrač vo dvojki, so rezultat 7-6 6-7 6-3. Potoa, Kleman i Lodra go osvoija tretiot precenet poen i stignaa do finaleto. Tie kje se sretnat so srpskata grupa koja za malce nemaše da stigne do finaleto. Iako go imaa vtororangiraniot igrač na svetot Novak Dzokovikj, rezultatite pred finalniot dvoen duel beše 2-2. Dzokovikj koj neodamna izgubi na US Open protiv brojot 1 Rafael Nadal se sretna so Tomas Berdih vo nedelata. No, štom Berih kako najdobar češki teniser možeše da poentira protiv Dzokovikj, koj beše premalen od prethodniot turnir I brz bukvalno iten duel po negovoto vrakjanje od Amerika, sepak duelot ispadna po scenario na Dzokovic. Češkata grupa konečno go izgubi tretiot duel pomegju Radek Stepanek koj izgubi od Janko Tipsarevikj I konečniot rezultat beše 3-2. Česite završija vo polufinaleto vo sredba so Argentina. Nothing is impossible, impossible is nothing.

Human spirit is something that will never give up. It's no wonder the doctor say when you lose your taste for life, your health will decline. And still, most of our life time we don't even consider this power a real power. Story of Phillippe Croizon amazed me and gave me another proof nothing was impossible for a man. This man swam across English channel. That wouldn't be that amazing – but the most surprising part of this information was that he lost all his limbs years ago. A situation that would take away all fortune and will to carry on brought this man the opposite. When he was in the hospital he saw a documentary about a swimmer crossing the channel and the desi! re was born. Jung said it very simply once, man couldn't stand a life without a meaning. Croizon who survived 20,000 volt charge attack and lost all his limbs in 1994 had to train two years until he finally got the courage to do it. He began his journey on English side and swam with specially designed flipper-shaped prosthetic legs. According to his support team he reached a speed of three kilometers (2 miles) per hour and was accompanied by dolphins for a part of the journey. The weather was good and Croizon managed to reach the speed just slightly lower than normal athletes would do. And he carried on 13 and half hours till he reached the cliff near the Wissant coast in Calais. Immediately after he was taken back to England by the boat. Croizon fulfilled his dream, but surely it wasn't the only one. I consider it a perfect lecture for us – healthy people. A life, power and beauty can rise even from those we were considering almost dead. If you hear the story abou! t a man who wrote a book just with a glimpse of his eye (becau! se he wa s completely disabled and couldn't do anything, but move his eye), then you don't hear about unfortunate man, you hear a true story about a genius.

Francúzsko vo finále Davisovho pohára!

Francúzsko si s hanbou spomína na tohtoročné majstrovstvá sveta vo futbale, kedy hráči odmietli trénovať po tom, čo Nicolas Anelka adresoval tvrdé a drzé slová ich koučovi Domenechovi. Kým noviny týždne po tejto udalosti riešili otázku potrestania jednotlivých hráčov, dnes už to nie je natoľko pálčivé. Francúzi nezabudli, no svoju pozornosť momentálne sústredili iným smerom, a to k tenisu. Davisov pohár je najvýznamnejšia súťaž reprezentačných družstiev v mužskom teni! se, ktorá vznikla v roku 1900 ako výzva medzi Veľkou Britániou a Spojenými štátmi americkými. Od tej doby si získal svojich fanúšikov a priaznivcov po celom svete. Súťaž, ktorú každoročne organizuje Medzinárodná tenisová federácia je založená na zápasení medzi jednotlivými súťažiacimi krajinami, a to vo forme vyraďovacích zápasov. Tento rok je Francúzsko jedným zo šťastných finalistov. Po nedeľňajšom zápase s Argentínou, ktorú francúzsky tím zdolal hladko 5-0, dostali Michael Llodra a Arnaud Clement šancu vo finále Davisovho Pohára. Pre Francúzsko, ktoré v predchádzajúcom kole zdolalo minuloročného víťaza Španielsko 5-0, to znamená, že vo finále budú hrať buď so Sr! bskom alebo Českou Republikou. Finále sa bude kona&#! 357; od 3. do 5. decembra v Srbskej metropole Belehrad. Francúzsky tím, ktorý sa so svojimi 9 primátmi dostal na tretiu priečku v historickom rebríčku, získalo svoj posledný triumf pred 9 rokmi. Kým v roku 2001 zdolalo Francúzsko vo finále Austráliu 3:2, o rok neskôr ich naopak porazilo Rusko 2:3. Na druhej strane Srbi budú vo finále debutovať a môžu sa stať trinástou krajinou s triumfom v Davisovom Poháre. Francúzsko má teda šancu zabudnúť na národnú futbalovú hanbu a ukázať sa tak (aspoň tenisom) v lepšom svetle.

Quadriplagic man - hero of the year!

Human nature is something that I believe no science can explain. It takes so much to a man to be disappointed, not satisfied, lazy, passive, but it takes a lot of motivation on the other hand, for those that weren’t so lucky. When you are healthy, you don’t really think of how important that is, but when something happens to you that hurt that welfare, than you realize how important it was to feel good. I always wonder where some people find the inspiration of doing something, especially those in pain, those with physical handicap. Today’s hero definitely is Philippe Croizon, a Frenchman that has not a single limb, who managed to swim across the English Ch! annel! I know you don’t believe, but still it is true that this man has impressed the world today. More impressive for me is his goal, why he actually wanted to do that – it was “to inspire all those who think life is nothing but suffering”. What a thought! It is a little bit embarrassing to all of those people on Earth that believe life is no worth it, to know that a quadriplegic man did what he did. Bravo! Croizon had an accident 16 years ago, when working as a metalworker, he got hit by a 20,000 volt charge trying to remove a television aerial from a house roof and got hit by a power line. His limbs were amputated right away. One must be very strong to live with that. “I wanted to dare for myself, my family and all my fellows in misfortune who have lost their taste for life”. He had been training for two years and swam for 13.5 hours. We should all learn from such people!

Davis Cup Semifinals: France over Argentina, Serbia over Czech Republic.

Tennis world focused on semifinals of Davis Cup this weekend. Four strongest squads confronted each other – Czechs fought with Serbian group and Frenchmen met with Argentina group. For French squad it went all smooth and clear since they beat Argentina with the highest score 5-0 on Sunday. Michael Llodra and Arnaud Clément won in doubles and topped victories in individual duels. Gilles Simon won over Eduardo Schwank and Arnaud Clement beat Horacio Zeballos in previous matches. Argentina couldn't go off the hook and finished in semifinals. Simon pulled the strings over Schwank who is a good double player with results 7-6 6-7 6-3. Then Clement and Llodra won the t! hird precious point and made it into the finals. There they will meet with Serbian group that almost didn't make it into finals. Although having the second best world player Novak Djokovic, the results before the final double duel was 2-2. Djokovic who has recently lost US open against no.1 Rafael Nadal met with Tomas Berdych on Sunday. But while Berdych as the best Czech tennis player could score even against Djokovic who was exhausted from previous tournament and quick, literally immediate duel after his return from America, the duel turned out to be a Djokovic scenario. Czech group finally lost the third duel between Radek Stepanek who lost against Janko Tipsarevic and the general score went to 3-2. Czech have finished in semifinals meeting Argentina. For Serbia it will be the first appearance in the finals that are scheduled on 3rd December.

Nadal's dream came true

The king of the clay, the young Spaniard that impressed the Royal Spanish family as much as the whole world, Rafael Nadal is no longer only a gifted and tough working tennis player, but one of the few that has won all four Grand Slam titles. Having only 24 years and so much behind you, I keep wondering what moves you on and what will this young man do when his career would finish. But, OK, it is not the time for prejudices and prediction, I believe that this sports wunderkind enjoys the best days of his life. His last triumph was the wan in the US Open that ended few days ago, having a win against Serbian one year younger than him – Novak Djokovic. With the score 6-4,! 5-7, 6-4, 6-2, Nadal had won the US Open crown for the first time in his career. "It's a dream to have the career Grand Slam, but this is more dream to have the US Open" - Nadal said. He is known as the master of the clay, but surely proved that he is a master of the tennis field no matter what kind. And, no matter how much Djokovic, the well known entertainer among tennis players, wanted to take Nadal’s place and his hands to be set on that trophy, he just couldn’t make it. Maybe some other year, though he still showed a good game, pretty much improved than before. It is all different when you have the motivation. The day before the finals, he defeated Roger Federer and Nadal was simply weight too big bite for him, having to play with him only 24 hours later. The delays due to the rain in New York maybe helped him rest a little bit, or made him more excited, however, he is far away from the throne than Nadal holds supremely.

Riner: 3rd straight gold at world championships

This young man is only 20-year-old and he is already a triple winner of world judo championship. Teddy Riner, nicknamed “Teddy Bear” by his female fans, took the sport of judo by storm in 2007, when he won the world and European over-100 kg titles. From that time on he holds tight to the victory status. The Guadeloupe-born Riner who stands 2.04 meters tall and weighs 129 kg, became an instant celebrity in France, where judo is one of the most popular sports. Before he started with judo, he tried his hand at swimming, tennis, football and even modern jazz dance. Also coaches from basketball and boxing tried to convince this exceptional athlete to have a go at the! ir sports, but he finally decided for judo. His victory in 2007 gave France their first heavyweight world title since Douillet’s triumph 10 years ago and so Riner won praise from France and his fans. At 2010’s world judo championships in Tokyo, by defeating Andreas Toelzer from Germany he became world champion again! Riner who eliminated judokas from South Korea, Taiwan, Russia, Brazil and Japan on his way to the final, threw Toelzer in two minutes and 11 seconds. Riner, who lives in Paris with his parents and studies micro-computing, also hopes to retain the unlimited open-class title on the final day on Monday. If he aims this, he will become the first man to win five gold medals. As once his coach said about him: “The strongest thing about him is his mind.” So let’s keep our fingers crossed for him.

Rodik pak se iznervira!

Se čini deka vredi da se gleda Amerikanskoto otvoreno prvenstvo. Pred dva dena site lugje stoejkji ili ednostavno gladajkji bea šokirani koga beloruskata teniserka Viktorija Azarenka kolabiraše na terenot i moraše da bide prefrlena do bolnica, koga blag potres í beše dijagnosticiran. Istiot den, po malku nervozna izvedba vidovme od amerikanskiot profesionalen teniser i poranešen broj 1, Endi Rodik. Za vreme na natprevarot protiv Srbinot Janko Tipsarevikj, kade individualni setovi izgledaa kako šega, Rodik se iznervira poradi negovata greška so stapaloto. Rodik serviraše vo tretiot set koga beše 2-5, koga liniskiot sud! ija reče deka greškata so stapaloto što ja prikažuvaše televizijata beše korektna. Se pojavi konflikt koga Rodik ja praša so koe stapalo toj napravil prekršok. Koga taa po greška reče deka bilo desnoto stapalo, Rodik počna da vika: “Moeto desno stapalo? Navistina? Desno stapalo? Imavte vreme da razmislite deka toa e fizički nevozmožno?” Spored mnogu svedoci, Rodik ne možeše da izdrži i zboruvaše za toa i se šeguvaše povekje od 15 minuti. “Zošto ne zemete nekoi sudii što znaat što pravat? Probajte 1-800!” – toj proba da se pošeguva. “Jas sum ili premnogu talentiran ili taa vistinski ja zbrka rabotata. Toa e smešno. Mislam deka i dvete znaeme deka toa e smešno.” Rodik mu reče na glavniot sudija posle setot. Bez razlika kolku toj beše voznemiren, toj ne možeše da go pobedi Tipsarevikj, koj g! o osvoi natprevarot posle tri časa i 18 minuti, protiv ne! rvozniot bekhend-pobednik.

Roddick lost his nerve again!

That U.S. open seems to be watch-worthy. Two days ago all people standing on the court or just watching it were shocked when Belarusian tennis player Victoria Azarenka collapsed at the court and had to be transported to the hospital, where mild concussion was diagnosed to her. The same day, a little nervy-kind-of-performance was made by American professional tennis player and a former World No. 1, Andy Roddick. During the match against Serb Janko Tipsarevic, where individual sets looked like joke efforts, Roddick lose his nerve because of his foot fault. Roddick was serving down 2-5 in the third set, when a line judge called a foot fault that television replays showed was c! orrect. Conflict arose when Roddick asked her which foot he committed the violation with. When she mistakenly said it was his right foot, Roddick started to yell: “My right foot? Really? Right foot? Had time to think about how that is physically impossible?” According to many witnesses, Roddick couldn’t stand it and was talking about it and making jokes more than quarter of an hour. “Why don’t you get some umpires who know what they are doing? Try 1-800!” he tried to joke. “I am either really talented or she messed up really bad. That’s ridiculous. I think we both know that’s ridiculous.” Roddick said to the chair umpire after the set. Regardless of how much he was upset, he couldn’t defeat Tipsarevic, who won the match after three hours and 18 minutes with a nervy backhand winner.

Azarenka in hospital with mild concussion!

While central Europe is battling with winter-reminding weather, North America, especially people living around New York have to cope with one of the worst heats. U.S. open is in full swing, but tennis players have their best no to drop tennis rackets from their sweaty hands. “The weather was my biggest enemy today.” said Ljubicic. “I mean, throughout my career I struggled with the heat. I am not really coping really well with that, and I tried all kind of different tactics to deal with it. I never find the right one.” Temperatures that were in the mid-90s at midday were making troubles also to other players. Also Gisela Dulko said the conditions were! brutal. “It is really hot, really humid. You sweat so much; sometimes it is impossible to hold the racket.” she said to reporters. Apart from heat, she had to deal also with a shock, when her rival the 10th-seeded Belarusian Victoria Azarenka collapsed at the court. As Dulko later said, she was scared when she saw Azarenka suddenly went to the floor. Azarenka was trailing Dulko 5-1 when after 31 minutes of play she stopped running and crumpled to the ground. The accident occurred at 11:30, but as later statement was saying, it was a head injury, not the heat, that set Azarenka up for the fall. “I was warming up in the gym prior to my match against Gisela Dulko when I fell while running a sprint.” she said. After the tests which diagnosed a mild concussion, she will stay in hospital for observation.
