What few rude words can cause?!

What all can happen when few rude words come out from your mouth!? The story could be told by French forward Nicolas Anelka whose words insulted not only French coach Raymond Domenech to whom were addressed, but also boss of French football Jean-Piere Escalettes. But vulgar and angry words between Anelka and Domenech were not the only troubles France has on this year’s World Cup. Anelka who was sent home for insulting coach at halftime of a 2-0 defeat by Mexico on Thursday was followed by another row between captain Patrice Evra and a fitness coach, the training boycott and the resignation of a senior team official. As if it was not enough some sponsors of France̵! 7;s scandal-hit football team have started to withdraw advertising campaigns featuring the players, including campaign featuring Nicolas Anelka. Even though there are two opposed perspectives, the truth is again somewhere in the middle. Some – especially older players such as Just Fontaine – say Anelka should have been excluded immediately. Others, even though they are not apologizing Anelka’s words, are pointing at inability of current coach Domenech to lead and train team. Legendary Zinedine Zidane said: “You are surprised, but Domenech is not a trainer.” Another legendary footballer Eric Cantone said Domenech is the worst French trainer since the Louis XVI’s era. Whatever the opinions of people are the truth is that sponsors are reacting almost identically. Credit Agricole had cancelled its television campaign with the team, fast-food company Quick decided to stop using an advertising film featuring Anelka and Procter and Gamble said i! t was dropping a television campaign for its Pringles crisp br! and that featured the expelled player. Well, as it seems French football team is drowning quickly.
