Chile with win in the World Cup after almost 50 years

Wednesday match in the World Cup was a big thing for the representation of Chile. Believe it or not, it took Chile’s football players whole 48 years to win a match on the meeting of the football representations every four year. With the result of 1-0, thanks to the striker Mexican born Jean Beausejour, Chile has defeated Honduras. Chile’s last win happened on the same date in the year 1962, when it played with Yugoslavia. Chile deserved the win, it achieved the goal in the 18 minute from the beginning of the match. This game was full of penalties in the both teams. Honduran footballer Wilsons Palacios was very nervous, earned a yellow card for his offensive att! itude. Another surprise on the yesterday schedule definetly was the team of Switzerland which are almost total non attractive, for the football fans, but they succeeded to disappoint the actual European champion Spain, and the fans in the globe, as well. The team coach from Argentina, Marcel Bielsa is longing to bring his guys in the second round. It seems like more and more the countries with weak chances to win the title, choose the manner to hire coaches from star countries in the football field, from countries with richer football tradition. He didn’t make it to achieve that with his native country team two World Cups before. Maybe some matches are going to be remembered for the historical elements of a win, fight, penalties etc. But, still, the unforgettable moments are some trivial moments, like this year’s constant swirl of the instrument vuvuzela that makes everyone nervous. Though FIFA was asked to ban the annoying pipes, no one succeeded to convince ! the Association. Though we are only at the beginning of the Cu! p, the v uvuzelas are defiantly to be remembered.
