Chis Paul- star of the victory of Hornets against Spurs

Chis Paul's surgical drive past San Antonio to the defense ended with a high, razzle-dazzle dribble and a soft, floating shot off as a packed crowd broke into a thunderous frenzy. Only David West gave the San Antonio Spurs front-row seats for the Chris Paul show. Paul had 30 points and 12 assists, leading the Hornets to 102-84 victory Monday night and a 2-0 lead over the Spurs in their best-of-seven, second - round series.
“ These are some of the best moments, I think, of my life that we're experiencing now,” Paul said. “We are just riding a wave right now.” It's the wave which wiped out the Dallas Mavericks and is now crashing hard on the defending champion Spurs.
Peja Stojakovic hit five 3-pointers and scored 25 points for Hornets, who've won both games and repeated history when the Spurs were swept by Los Angels Lakers in the Western Conference finals in 2001. After allowing West to score a playoff careers-high 30 points in the series opener, the Spurs held All-Star power forward to 10 points on 2-of-11 shooting. But West remained active under the basket with 10 rebounds.
Tyson Chandler had 11 rebounds and all of his 5 points, including an alley-oop dunk of Paul's lob.
Tim Duncan led San Antonio with 18 points and 8 rebounds, far better than his miserable Game 1, when he tied a career playoff low with 5 points and 3 rebounds. Manu Ginobili had 13 points, Tony Parker 11 and Brent Barry added 14 for the Spurs.

Hornets coach also said that he was proud the way his team played.
Game 3 is Thursday in San Antonio.
